About Dr. Bills

Dr. Dan Bills is a South Jersey native and spent the early years of his life in Gloucester Township, just a few miles from the home of Innovative Orthodontics. Dr. Bills is a 1993 graduate of Lenape High School. He went on to receive his Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology in 1997 from Lafayette College where he graduated with honors. He then obtained his dental degree with honors from Harvard University in 2001. Subsequently, Dr. Bills headed to the University of Illinois, where he completed a three-year orthodontic residency. Dr. Bills is Board Certified and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics.
Dr. Bills' involvement in the profession is extensive. He has held several local and national positions in the American Dental Association and he is currently a Committee Chair and a Delegate of the New Jersey Dental Association and a Trustee of the Southern Dental Society of New Jersey. In addition, Dr. Bills is an active member of the American Association of Orthodontists, the Middle Atlantic Society of Orthodontists and the New Jersey Association of Orthodontists. Dr. Bills is also extremely committed to scholarly activity. He is a published author and is currently on Staff in the Department of Dentistry at Virtua Hospital, where he lectures about orthodontics to dental residents.
Dr. Bills is proud of his longstanding ties to this area. His father has taught English at Clearview Regional High School for almost 40 years and his mother taught elementary school in West Deptford for 25 years. In his free time, Dr. Bills enjoys playing basketball and golf. He also enjoys spending quality time with his friends and family.
